I need help too....
Not to steal the thunder from Madame S's interview (KNOCK EM DEAD, GIRLFRIEND!)... but I am going to be a hostess at a big singles' party on Thursday evening-night. It is indoor/outdoor but it might rain. I need something to wear! Unfortunately, I can't post pics from my computer at the moment, but maybe you can tell me :
A) if any outfits previously posted would fit the bill
B) how do you feel about a simple, very low cut black top with thin straps (no bra possible-- basically it *just* keeps the boobs in), coupled with a flouncy red skirt that goes to mid-calf, strappy black sandals and some chunky or long necklace? I will post when I can!
C) should I just go out and buy something new?!
Thanks for the feedback, in advance!

I like the outfit you posted last. (Don't know where you have worn it already) but option B sounds pretty great too!
Option B sounds really great! Sexy, chic, comfy...you don't want to feel uncomfortable in what might be a rainy, stressful situation, that's for sure!
Post a pic when you can!
Where is it being held? Is it just a gathering of friends? Is there any kind of corporate background to this "singles party"? Is it in a loft? Your's or someone else's? Is it in a comfy cozy appartment (you said a "big" party...) What's the dress code if any? Come as you are? Casual business? Give us background details: who organized it? Is it completely informal and just for the hell of it?
Friends or acquaintances or perfect strangers? How many people are you expecting? Is there a cover charge? Is it in an establishment or someone's home?
Yes: it matters.
