The Outdoors Hat

I've given up my beat up, sun bleached baseball hat in favor of this new, Gortex covering. Wider brimmed for sun, waterproof for rain. Whatdoyathink?

Looks like you're heading "down under," but hell, in this day and age, safety and protection comes first. :o)

hmm, hard to say...

Is it new-wave cowboy hat cool? Or is it my mom is making me wear this "tilley" hat for my protection?

I can't tell with this pic - but it's a nice shot.

I need to start adding to this site again!

BTW - last night Cuddles made a sarcastic comment about how "hot" my nightgown was.

I like the hat. Hats are bold, daring; hats add a touch of derring-do to an otherwise jaded look and bland outfit. Hats say about the heads that wear them: "I'm in control, confident and I take life by the balls." Yes, hats are a statement. Of course I don't mean idiotic ball caps - ball caps say "I'm boring, I have no imagination, I'm dying to blend in, and I have no clue. Help!" But everyone has one, yes, even I.

Keep the Gore-Tex lid. I'd love to run into you with you wearing it. Bet I'd make a double take and ask myself "Who is that lovely lady with personality and confidence?" You go, Madame S. You rock my world.

sorry mme s, i was trying to be funny, but the truth is, i'm just not a hat person! sometimes girls look cute in a little baseball cap or visor, but i don't know enough about any hats to really judge. sorry. maybe we should ask rockenpooper. where is that guy anyway?

um, he is above you silly. I would venture a large sum that "rh" is him.

I'm also not a hat person at all. And though some hats might say "I have the confidence to wear this" and look really good, I don't love this particular hat.

Also men wearing hats - almost no matter what kind first and foremost say to me "I'm bald".

my boyfriend has worn a baseball hat twice now, and i think for him it means to say: "I'm cute". and also: "I couldn't be arsed to look at my hair this morning".
