YAY!! or NO WAY!! ?

Advice needed on this summer top.

I'm torn on whether this loose shirt is really cool and kind of sexy cause it has no shape (that element of the unknown....).

Is it hippy stylish or just a sac with a bit of crochet-ed trim that should not be worn in public? I secretly love when the breeze lifts it up around the belly, exposing some skin...

It is so comfortable, I don't really want to part with it, but sometimes I think it belongs in the Goodwill bag.

It's too damn hot here

Inspired by Hicko's last post I went PJ shopping. This is my new 'look' to get me through this heat wave. Supposed to be for night time but I have had them on all day (granted I haven't left the house and don't plan on it now that we have an airconditioner - woohoo!)

Shell Necklace

Another Happy fun Summer outfit brought to you by
the letters "H" and "M".

Is the shell necklace too much?
It was leftover from my hula costume. The coconuts never fit properly so all I kept was the shell necklace!

Necklace Combo

I just started wearing these together. The horseshoe is for good luck and the birds belonged to my Grandmother.

Who's Messin with Da Blog?

Now I'm gonna mess with you!!
Looks like our adminsitrator is up to something... I just noticed I can edit anyone's entries!! Tee hee, oh the fun I will have!

Hickteeth, be sure to read your recent post later on for a few surprizes!!

The RORY de Resistance

I can't believe I forgot to include RORY.

Though RORY is a bit wrinkled from neglect, it does appear somewhat more alluring than the other 3, does it not? It's silky, pink, slightly see-through (thank RORY for a good flash to counter that). It is a bit long... but still cute.

Why don't I wear it more often, you ask? Well... it was a present...
From RORY's MOTHER.

Re-cap : The sexiest night-wear I have has been brought to you by my boyfriends' mother. Which cancels out all sexiness factor and in fact places it snugly at the bottom of the RORY.

Evening-wear, or : How Not to be Sexy

Other boyfriends have commented, some have attempted to remedy the situation... but I am not sure I will ever get over my lack of proper sleeping attire in my lifetime.

I give to you ...

"Between The Sheets" 3 Nights in Hickteeth's Bed.

(if you expect to get turned on, you might be bitterly dissapointed).

First off : The Ol' Standby.

I got this puppy when I was about 14 or so, and went to Disneyland with a friend of mine. I still have it. And I still wear it.

Next up is a little number we call : The Social Butterfly

This doozy was given to me as a gift by an ex-friend in Toronto (we didn't stop talking because of this nightie, but for all the problems its caused me, we might as well have!)
It actually SAYS "social butterfly" on it between the pictures of butterflies. Need I say more?

And finally, let us not forget : Karate PJs

I bought these many years ago... when times were simpler... and you could find draw-string pants at the Gap that they labelled "Karate", assuming you would be kick-dropping people in them, I guess.

No, I didn't have a boyfriend at the time they were purchased, and yes, I still wear them now, despite protests.

The drawstrings are nearly ripped off so they won't last much longer anyway.
For your pleasures, I did NOT include the pic of my back in these. Let's just say they aren't flattering.

I think you get the ideas on the other two - for which I have also withheld the back shots.

I keep meaning to pay a visit to La Senza or some such place, but then I think "do I have $100 to spend on something to SLEEP in?" and I never do...

Shirt-Dress-Top

Mr. Shenanigan hates this item of clothing The Shirt/Dress/Top - Not sure how to classify it. I find it wonderfully comfortable (hard to tell but it's a light cotton gauzy type fabric). Is the Shirt/Dress/Top really that bad? Is it ok to wear over jeans or black pants?

Casual Date

The new guy I have gone out with twice is so casual-- he wears sneakers, baggy pants, plaid short sleeve button downs, and he always carries a canvas shoulder bag. For our first date, I wore jeans and the black top I chose NOT to wear to the single's party (scroll down). For our second spontaneous early evening date (was supposed to be a movie). I wore this: black stretchy tank with pink tank over it, loose khaki pants, black flip flops, and this watermelon-seed necklace I bought in Panama. I brought along a white sweatshirt and had my hair in a high ponytail. Too casual? Eh, whatever, he already called again.

"Smock" Accessories

After viewing my post I realized two things.
1. This outfit needed a belt to take it from Pyjamas to Street wear
2. The flip flops were no good

Below is the revised version with belt and the selection of shoes I tried on to wear with it. Please share your feelings on the shoe selection!

A. Silver Thongs----------------------- B. Black Patton with Buckle

C. Black Leather slip ons---------------D. Black and White cute runners

The "smock" look

I'm not sure what inspired this look - Can't decide if it's Beverly Hills chic (That's where I will be spending my day) or is it more Pyjama, don't leave the house look (where I would rather be spending my day!) What do you think?
(And for your benefit I've done the complete head to toe including shoes)

Please note the use of sweat wicking shirt as the under layer! (see previous posting regarding the revolutionay fabric)

Impulse Culottes

I bought these on impulse I think I'm going to take them back unless anyone has any major objections to that!
